Over the week end the noise of near by discos and clubs filters through and it is not a quiet hotel. good location in the centre of old Zurich. The hotel is a bit small

Perfectly situated in the old town & near the river, main church etc. (but next to a tapas bar & nightclub !!). Very, very noisy on w/ends till 5-ish in the morning. Hotel is very good, young staff are excellent & superbly helpful , nice rooms, good b/fast (till 11.00 on the w/end).

Top Tip
Hotel is close to all sights (10 min. through fantastic side streets to the famous shopping street Bahnhofstrasse), to restaurants, bars & the Kunsthaus with excellent exhibitions. Restaurant "Kronenhalle" (& its bar next door) is a Zurich institution for the well heeled with silver service & great food (fantastic inside) - you have to reserve (dress code: smart +).

The staff on reception, in the dining room and those responsible for cleaning were all helpful, smiling and friendly.

Top Tip
There's a great sushi place just 50m away when you turn right out of the hotel. La Salle in the western part of the city is well worth eating at and isn't overly expensive.
