The St Gottard Hotel is housed in a traditional building, which over the years has retained its grandeur. The medium sized lobby is very charming, the warm dark colours of its décor blending well with the traditional furniture. The 150 guestrooms are all individually designed, combining both traditional and modern styles. The en suite bathrooms are a little old fashioned, but in good condition. The restaurants in the Hotel St.Gotthard have developed over the years into meeting points for international businessmen, tourists and locals. This has resulted from the fact that the restaurants are completely different to each other, all of them catering for a different kind of clientele. The "Hummer Bar" serves exquisitely prepared lobsters, oysters and other shellfish, as well as a wide range of wines and cocktails. "La Bouillabaise" caters for guests looking out for fish specialities of all kinds, while "La Piazetta" offers guests the opportunity to save regional specialities on a lovely summer terrace.
